• Canadian citizens using Canadian passports do not require a visa to enter Greece for tourism or business stays under ninety (90) days.
  • Nationals of the following countries do not need a visa to enter Greece: European Union (EU),Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Bolivia, Brazil, Brunei, Bulgaria, CANADA, Chile, Costa Rica, Croatia, El Salvador, Honduras, Hong Kong, Iceland, Israel, Japan, Korea Rep, Liechtenstein, Macau, Malaysia, Mexico, Monaco, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Romania, San Marino, Singapore, Switzerland, Uruguay, UK, USA, Vatican, Venezuela.
  • Nationals of the following countries need an airport transit visa to transit through a Greek airport, even if transiting by the same aircraft: Afghanistan, Angola, Bangladesh, Congo DR, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Ghana, India, Iran, Iraq, Nigeria, Pakistan, Somalia, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Syria and Turkey.
  • Nationals holding passports or travel documents of the following places are restricted from entry to Greece: Bophuthatswana, Ciskei, Transkei and Venda.
  • Nationals of the following places are restricted from entry to Greece: Macedonia FYROM, unless accompanied by a special visa.
  • Nationals of the following description are restricted from entry to Greece: holders of Somalian passports issued or extended after 31 January 1991; Norwegian Fremmedpass or Reisbevis; Ethiopian emergency passports; holders of travel documents issued by the area of Cyprus not controlled by the government of Cyprus; holders of UN laissez passers; holders of Turkish travel documents with visas or stamps indicating previous or planned visits to Cyprus.
